Q: Can I use your Drawings/Fan Arts/Pictures on my site
 
A : Of course ! All you need is to give proper credit & link back to my website. I'd appreciate it if you do not alter my drawings without my consent. Should you do so, then just link it back to the this site and it'll be fine.

Q : You draw all these ? What are Fan Arts ?

A : If you meant that I drew these drawings myself, yes i did. They are all hand drawn by me. I drew these drawings based on existing images which is drawn by their original creators. Hence it is called 'Fan Arts'.

Q : Do the characters depicted in your Fan Arts belong to you ?

A : Though Fan Arts do have my own personal touches, it still remains as a derivatives of COPYRIGHTED WORK THAT I DO NOT OWN. The characters and ARE NOT MINE and are copyrighted to their own respective creators and companies.

Q: Are you a Professional Art Student ?

A : I have no art background or nor the qualification.

Q : Don't you draw anymore? Updates are too slow!

A : I'll draw till the day I am unable to lift a pencil. The thing is.. as much as I love drawing, I am very *very* easily distracted! Hence alot of my drawings are unfinished and isn't fit to be seen or uploaded. Apart from that, I have other obligations which takes up alot of my time.

Q: You are a girl ?!!

A: I never really understood why people are so surprised by this fact until my girlfriends explained that it is rather unconventional for girls to draw, watch anime and play video games. Imagine that ! Now whats so wrong about it? From the way I see it, girls are the ones who are driving the manga, anime & video game market these days.  As for drawing, gender has nothing to do with it. So go figure :)

Q : What's OIEH? Are you Japanese?

A : I'm CHINESE. Oieh is my surname.

A : Sure. Just read MY PROFILE & MY BLOG.

Q : Just exactly how, and when did you started drawing ?

A : When I was little, I would attempt to draw anything which is visually attractive (as seen on TV). This is attributed to the fact that my parents loves to put me in front of the TV when I was young. You see, cartoons just happened to be easier and a lot more interesting to draw when I was little (and it still is to me now). However my drawings never was any good until I was introduced to anime in 1999 when I caught Rurouni Kenshin on HBO. That was when my passion for drawing started .. and it remained eversince.

Q : Can I buy your Fan Arts ?

A : Unless you are able to obtain formal written permission from from the original creators/copyright/trademark owner and respective companies, I have NO INTENTION to sell my Fan Arts (featuring anime, manga & video game characters). It would be unfair and it might even upset the original creators/copyright/trademark owner and respective companies if I were to do so without permission.

Q : What about commissioning you to draw by reference to existing photos of celebrities , people , animals , etc ?

A : That I accept, as it requires alot of effort on my part and in effect, allows significant personal touches (the finished result cannot and will not be 100 percent an accurate duplication of the original as it will be hand drawn by me) which enables the work to become my own to be sold to you. If you are interested, email me the photo of the subject you want me to draw, the price, and of course the deadline of when do you want it to be completed.

Q : Can you draw/illustrate for a book/game/comic which I am creating/distributing/promoting ?

A : If you are the creator, I would love to. E-mail me the details - subject, price and deadline. However if you are merely promoting & distributing copyrighted materials, then again you will need to obtain permission from respective parties first before asking me to draw for you.

Q : What mediums/software do you use to draw your artwork?
 
A : All of my artwork are HAND DRAWN using pen or pencil or mechanical pencil ( it depends on my mood ) on a good drawing block (sometimes A 4 paper) and is later scanned for editing using Photoshop (that is if its necessary).

Q : You draw using pen ?!!

A : Yes I do. People call me crazy but I find drawing with Pen a lot more exciting (not to mention challenging) as compared to drawing with a pencil. Reason is because it is almost impossible to erase the mistakes made.  Knowing that, there is an unexplainable rush which you do not get when you normally draw with a pencil.

Q : Help! I can't draw to save my life!

A : Oh yes you can. People tell me that all the time. All you need is some bit of patience, and dedication to the subject that you are planning to draw. When you have that, you can draw almost anything. Good luck !

Q : I think your drawings are 'unrefined', 'ugly' , 'fake' etc !

A : I never said I was the best, nor am I competing for any recognition (its just a hobby which I share) so if you got nothing constructive to say, then don't bother flaming me in e-mails. I'll just shit bricks laughing at your immaturity.
